Our commitment

Elash Design Studio wants everyone to be able to use elashdesign.com, including people who use assistive technology, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is part of how we design and build, for our own site and for our clients.

Conformance target

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We consider the site partially conformant: most of it meets the target, but some parts, described below, may not yet fully meet it.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with one main heading per page, a logical heading order, landmarks, and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Full keyboard navigation, including the menus, with a visible focus indicator on every link, button and form field.
  • Text and interface colors checked against WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Labelled form fields, with errors described in text and announced to screen readers.
  • Touch and click targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels.
  • Support for the “reduce motion” setting: animations and moving effects are turned off when it is on.
  • Captions or transcripts for video and audio content wherever we publish it.
  • Pages that reflow at 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom without sideways scrolling.

Known limitations

  • Third-party services: our “Schedule a Call” links open a HoneyBook scheduling page. We do not control that page and it may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. If you have trouble using it, call or email us and we will book the call for you.
  • Portfolio images: some case-study screenshots show client websites as they looked at the time and may contain small text. The key information is also given in the page text.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile, and with screen readers such as VoiceOver on macOS and iOS and NVDA on Windows. Older browsers may not display every feature as intended.

Feedback and contact

If you find a barrier on our site, or need any of our content in a different format, please tell us:

Let us know the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within 2 business days, and we can provide content in an alternative format, such as plain text or a phone walkthrough, on request.

Assessment approach

We assessed this site by self-evaluation, using automated testing tools together with manual keyboard and screen reader checks. This statement was prepared on October 13, 2026, and we review it when we make significant changes to the site.
